Here’sthe Gist:
We are seekingan experienced and highly motivated individual to take on the challenging role of QualityEngineer. This role willbe filled locatedonsite at ourWolfspeedmanufacturing site in Marcy, NY.This person will be responsibleforsupporting all aspects of our quality management system including manufacturingqualityand supplier quality for the Mohawk Valley Fab. To be successful in this role, the person will collaborate with internalteams within Quality and Operations organizations.
The Day-to-Day:
Interface with customersquality engineers on complaints and returns. Lead problem solving with cross functional teams to determineroot cause and corrective actions.
Support theManufacturing Quality business processes for the IATF16949 certified Marcy site including change management, non-conformance management, corrective actions, etc.
Work with fabengineers to evaluate supplier PCNs and issue vendor corrective action SCARS supportingthe Supplier and Incoming Quality business process.
Develop and maintainexcellent working relationships with key internal stakeholders including the factoryandbusiness unit leadership.
This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Qualifications):
BS in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related degree.
Minimum 3-5years' experience in semiconductor manufacturing
Knowledge of quality systems, semiconductor materials, and semiconductor wafer fabrication.
The ability to operatein a fast paced, highly dynamic environment and to execute at both a detailed level as well as a strategic level.
Excellent communication and project management skills.
Familiarity with quality management systems and documentation practices.Experience with IATF 16949, AS9100, or ISO9001 strongly preferred.
Basic understanding of quality core tools (FMEA, PPAP, APQP, SPC)is a strong plus.
Excellent communication and project management skillswith a keen focus on attention to detail.
Works independently, self-motivated, takes ownership and accountability for process deadlines.
Ability to work in large, complex, global environment,in a fast-paced environment, and remainsflexible to support changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience designingand/orexecuting incoming quality controlbusiness utilizing camLine(SQM, SPACE, CDM)and SAPS4 HANA(quality management& enterprisewarehouse management)
Experienceutilizingengineering databases and SQLtodevelopand deployPowerBIreports focusedon supporting day-to-daybusiness operationsas well as key process effectiveness indicator
Working knowledge of the VDA 4992 barcode specificationand/orexperience deploying itin a manufacturing environment
Experience deploying pythonand/or streamlitreporting applicationsThis role may require additionalduties and/or assignments as designatedby management.

The posted salary range is what Wolfspeed reasonably expects to pay for this position. Actual pay for a hired applicant will be determined based on the individual’s job-relevant qualifications, experience, and other determinative factors. Compensation Range:
