The Operations Analyst is primarily responsible for the monitoring and capture of tax information and data related to issuance of structured fixed income securities. You would use a variety of tools including web scraping scripts, change detection tools, and manual monitoring to identify and capture tax details and data from publicly available regulatory filings.
Responsibilities:
Performsextremely detailed and thorough reviews, ensuring that all content produced is timely and accurate.
Performssearches on pre-determined websites for regulatory filings (Prospectuses, Pricing Supplements, etc.).
Performsad hoc, search engine-based queries for regulatory filings.
Identifiesand extractskey data points and tables from regulatory filings.
Verifiesautomated identification performed by internal systems.
Handlesescalations regarding content issues and accuracy internally.
Provideshigh-quality work products on time (within project scope, schedule, and budget) and without defects. Reportsimmediately any impediments that put a deadline at risk.
Managesadministrative requirements, including timely submission of timesheets/billings, and adheresto CCOE deadlines.
Requirements:
Financial industry professional designations and/or legal background desirable.(preferred, not required).
Must be analytical and detail oriented.
Must have strong organizational skills.
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Fluency in English.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
