Responsibilities
We are looking for a motivated Customer Success Intern to support our growing Japan Customer Success team.
In this role, you'll work closely with Customer Success Managers and cross-functional teams to improve customer operations, streamline internal processes, and explore practical ways to leverage AI and Automation in day-to-day business.
Customer Success Operations
Maintain Contact and Account information in Salesforce (SFDC)
Support Quote Creation
Support Salesforce-related operations
Generate ideas and support implementation for process automation and operational improvements (AI & Automation)
Support the creation of AI best practices and internal knowledge assets (AI & Automation)
Cross-functional Collaboration
Coordinate with internal teams such as Deal Desk, Billing, Product, and Sales
Support internal communications
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program
Fluent in Japanese (ability to communicate smoothly)
Comfortable reading, writing, and engaging in basic communication in English
Basic computer skills using Mac
Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) or equivalent productivity tools
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality
Preferred Skills / Experience
Experience using generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini
Experience using collaboration tools such as Slack, Notion, Zoom, or Confluence
Experience using CRM tools like Salesforce
Strong interest in AI, Automation, SaaS, and Digital Transformation (DX)
Personal Characteristics
Interested in Customer Success, SaaS, and technology companies
Eager to learn operations and business processes
Enjoys paying attention to detail while thinking deeply about the underlying context and purpose of tasks
Excited to collaborate with team members from diverse roles and backgrounds
Proactive in thinking about and driving process improvements
Eager to learn new technologies and enjoy experimenting with AI and Automation to find better ways of working
Employment Terms
Employment type: Paid internship
Work location: Office attendance required (no remote work)
Minimum commitment: 6-12 months
Working hours:
During school term: at least 15 hours/week (reduced hours may be arranged around exam periods)
During school vacation: less than 30 hours/week (within Workato business hours, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM)
