What is great Workmanship?. The reporting paradox: How to ensure property teams spend more time using data than gathering it.

We are seeking a professional, friendly, and highly organised Receptionist to join our head office team in Glasgow.

As the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and employees, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and professional environment while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the office.

Hours: Full Time - Monday - Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm

Day to day, you’ll

  • Welcome clients, visitors, and guests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Manage incoming calls and direct enquiries to the appropriate team members.
  • Coordinate meeting room bookings and prepare rooms for client meetings.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing post, deliveries, and couriers.
  • Maintain a tidy and professional reception and client-facing environment.
  • Provide administrative support to the wider team as required
  • Managing stationary itinerary, orders and storage.
  • Ensure all visitors are signed in and comply with office procedures.
  • Ensuring all office sundry items are always checked and stocked appropriately.
  • Responsible for producing Purchase Orders and checking invoice for office supplies.
  • Be responsible for managing property keys, held in the office.
  • Assist the office based teams as required.

What we expect of you

  • Previous reception, front-of-house, or customer service experience, ideally within a professional services environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional and polished appearance and manner.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently.

Our core belief

Great Workmanship starts with getting the fundamentals right.

Even though we're in the property business, we're all about the people.

Everything we do is built on collaboration, empowerment, autonomy, and integrity - not just words, but how we actually work.

Why Workman?

  • Study support (where applicable)
  • Discretionary annual bonus and salary reviews.
  • Healthcare, life insurance & wellness programme
  • Long service additional holidays, your birthday off and an extra day between Christmas and New Year.
  • Lifestyle benefits to suit you: gym membership, cycle to work, buy and sell holiday to name just a few.
  • Social events throughout the year including a firm wide Christmas party!
  • Generous referral bonus.
