To contribute to the effectiveness of WFP Sri Lanka's programmes by coordinating reporting processes, supporting resource mobilization and partnership activities, and providing analytical inputs for decision-making. The incumbent will facilitate the development of high-quality reports, donor visibility products, and partnership documentation while ensuring compliance with corporate standards and donor requirements.

1. Contribute to the planning and implementation of reporting and information management activities, ensuring compliance with corporate standards and donor requirements.

2. Coordinate the collection, validation, analysis, and consolidation of information from multiple units to support reporting, programme performance monitoring, and management decision-making.

3. Prepare analytical reports, briefing notes, situation updates, dashboards, and donor visibility products that communicate programme achievements, challenges, and operational developments.

4. Coordinate inputs for corporate and donor reporting exercises, including annual reports, country briefs, situation reports, and thematic updates, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely submission.

5. Monitor reporting timelines and deliverables, proactively engaging with relevant units to ensure quality contributions and adherence to deadlines.

6. Contribute to the development and improvement of reporting tools, templates, guidance materials, and information management processes to enhance efficiency and reporting quality.

7. Support partnership development efforts by conducting partner mapping, stakeholder analysis, and background research to identify opportunities for collaboration and resource mobilization.

8. Coordinate the preparation of donor proposals, concept notes, presentations, partner briefings, and visibility materials, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and partner expectations.

9. Facilitate coordination between programme, RAM, communications, supply chain, finance, and external stakeholders to ensure coherent reporting and partnership engagement.

10. Monitor donor commitments, visibility requirements, and reporting obligations, ensuring timely follow-up and compliance.

11. Analyze programme performance information and identify trends, risks, and lessons learned to support evidence-based planning and communication.

12. Contribute to knowledge management initiatives by maintaining reporting repositories, documenting best practices, and promoting effective information sharing across the Country Office.

13. Represent the unit in internal coordination meetings and provide technical advice on reporting and partnership-related matters as required.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT

One-year postgraduate professional experience, or First University degree with additional 8 years of related work experience and

1. Experience coordinating programme reporting and performance monitoring activities, including the collection, validation, analysis, and interpretation of data, and the preparation of analytical reports, briefing notes, and management updates.

2. Experience in information management, performance reporting, or knowledge management, including consolidating information from multiple sources, producing reporting products, and supporting evidence-based decision-making through timely and accurate analysis.

3. Experience supporting partnership development, donor engagement, or resource mobilization activities, including the preparation of donor reports, partner briefs, presentations, and stakeholder engagement materials, while ensuring compliance with donor requirements and visibility commitments.

4. Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and coordinating with programme, monitoring and evaluation, supply chain, communications, finance, and other stakeholders to facilitate integrated planning, reporting, and implementation of activities.

5. Experience utilizing data management, reporting, and analytical tools to organize, analyze, and visualize information, including maintaining databases, monitoring performance indicators, and generating insights to support programme and partnership objectives.

6. Experience working within the UN system, international NGOs, development organizations, government institutions, or similar environments, with exposure to reporting, partnerships, communications, programme management, or coordination functions being highly desirable.

7. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

STANDARD MINIMUM ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Advanced University degree in in a relevant functional area such as Communications, Information Management, Social Sciences, Development Studies, International Relations or related fields with one year postgraduate professional experience, or First University degree with additional 8 years of related work experience and/or trainings/courses is highly desirable.

Language: Fluency in oral and written English. Fluency in Sinhala and/or Tamil is desirable for coordination with national counterparts.
