Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate end-to-end workforce operations, including onboarding, training, scheduling, rostering, workforce tracking and tournament-time delivery.
  • Manage workforce communications, including inbox management, stakeholder engagement, staff queries, issue resolution and workforce newsletters.

  • Maintain accurate workforce records within the Tournament Management System, generate reports and validate data across multiple sources to support decision-making.
  • Support workforce logistics, including accommodation and transport coordination, uniform distribution, deployment planning and workforce mobilisation activities.
  • Collaborate with World Rugby workforce teams, functional area leaders and key stakeholders to support workforce planning, operational readiness and successful tournament delivery.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a similar administration, customer service or human resource’s role. Experience in events, workforce operations or sporting environments is not compulsory but ideal
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across diverse groups

  • Demonstrated strong capability to work independently, using initiative and taking ownership of tasks and outcomes
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable using or quickly learning systems and tools, including workforce platforms and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)
