The Account Manager is responsible for managing an established portfolio of clients and supporting their day-to-day shipping and logistics needs. This fast-paced, relationship-driven role serves as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring exceptional service and helping clients navigate their shipping challenges. Responsibilities include coordinating shipments, sourcing carriers and drivers, scheduling freight, tracking shipments, and proactively resolving issues to ensure successful delivery outcomes. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and thrives in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who enjoy building relationships, solving problems, and making a direct impact on their clients' business success. Account Managers can expect to see an average first year income of $60-$70K, with most getting into 6-figure range in 18-24 months.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage your own book of business by coordinating shipping needs and developing client relationships
Work with shippers to provide transportation for various goods across the country
Provide tracking and thorough communication on all shipments
Negotiate and contract pricing agreements with carriers
Plan and coordinate shipment schedules

No experience in logistics necessary
