About the role

This is an exciting role where you will be working across multiple industries and with a variety of stakeholders across the Asia Pacific region. We are looking for an experienced Project Risk Analyst to join our Project Risk Management team. Reporting to the Director, Project Risk Management, you will take ownership of project risk analysis across an assigned portfolio, ensuring risk processes are applied consistently throughout the full project lifecycle - from pre-contract and proposal through to delivery.

This is a hands-on role where you will facilitate risk workshops, lead quantitative cost and schedule risk analysis, and turn complex risk outputs into clear insights for project teams and customers. You will also play a key part in building risk management capability across the business by guiding and developing junior risk personnel and contributing to continuous improvement of our global risk tools and processes

Key areas of responsibility

  • Quantitative cost and schedule risk analysis, building bespoke models and interpreting outputs to communicate clear, actionable insights to project teams and customers.
  • Establish, maintain and govern project risk management activities across an assigned portfolio, ensuring consistent application of the risk process from pre-contract through to project close-out.
  • Facilitate risk identification workshops, develop and maintain project risk registers, and support risk owners to select appropriate response strategies and action plans.
  • Prepare and issue accurate Risk Management Plans, reports and associated documents at agreed intervals, monitoring variances and advising on corrective action.
  • Guide, mentor and develop junior risk personnel, and deliver training and presentations on risk management topics to internal and external audiences.

What you'll bring

  • Significant project risk management experience across a range of projects, ideally within engineering, energy, resources or a comparable technical industry.
  • Specialist knowledge of risk management software and proven experience in quantitative cost and schedule risk analysis.
  • A recognised risk management qualification (e.g. IRM International Certificate in Risk Management) or equivalent experience, plus a diploma or associate degree in a relevant discipline. A degree in Risk Management, Project Management, Engineering or another analytical discipline is highly regarded.
  • Excellent facilitation skills, with the confidence to lead workshops and provide constructive challenge to project teams.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build constructive relationships with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and with customers.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and customers concurrently, deliver to deadlines and support the development of junior team members.
  • A strong safety mindset and a genuine interest in wider risk management topics and continuous improvement.
