What does a AI Specialist do at WPP Production?  

WPP Production is seeking an exceptional AI Post Production Specialist to drive the next generation of AI-powered content creation, workflow automation, and production innovation. 

This role sits at the intersection of creative technology, artificial intelligence, software development, and post-production. The ideal candidate combines strong audiovisual and visual effects expertise with advanced technical capabilities in AI systems, automation development, scripting, agent orchestration, and pipeline optimization. 

You will be responsible for developing scalable AI workflows, designing intelligent automation solutions, building custom production tools, and supporting creative teams through cutting-edge generative AI technologies. The role requires a proactive innovator capable of transforming complex production challenges into efficient, automated, and repeatable solutions. 

This position plays a key role in establishing WPP Production Argentina as a regional leader in AI-driven content production. 

Key Responsibilities  

• AI Content Generation & Creative Technology

• Design and execute advanced image, video, audio, and multimodal AI workflows. 

• Create high-quality advertising assets using tools such as ComfyUI, Weave, Fal, Seedance, Runway, Veo, Nano Banana and emerging technologies. 

• Rapidly prototype concepts, animatics, storyboards, style frames, and proof-of-concepts. 

• Develop reusable AI templates and workflows for scalable production use. 

• Evaluate and integrate new AI technologies into production pipelines. 

• Automation & Process Optimization

• Analyze existing production workflows and identify automation opportunities. 

• Design and implement automated solutions that reduce manual tasks, repetitive work, and bottlenecks. 

• Build internal tools that improve project tracking, asset versioning, quality control, approvals, reporting, and resource management. 

• Create automated workflows connecting creative, production, and business systems. 

• Develop scalable operational frameworks to support increasing production volume without proportional headcount growth. 

• Agent Design & AI Systems Development

• Design, develop, and maintain AI agents supporting creative, production, and operational teams. 

• Implement agent-based workflows capable of performing research, asset preparation, documentation, reporting, and project support functions. 

• Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs), multimodal models, APIs, and external services into production workflows. 

• Evaluate emerging agent frameworks and orchestration technologies. 

• Drive adoption of AI-powered assistants across production departments. 

• Software Development & Technical Innovation

• Develop custom tools, scripts, plugins, and integrations using Python, JavaScript, and related technologies. 

• Create production automation systems for Adobe Creative Cloud applications. 

• Design and maintain APIs, workflow connectors, and automation services. 

• Build internal dashboards and monitoring tools. 

• Troubleshoot and solve technical challenges across AI and post-production pipelines. 

• Maintain documentation and version control for internally developed solutions. 

• After Effects & Motion Design Automation

• Develop custom ExtendScript, Expressions, CEP Panels, UXP Extensions, and automation tools for Adobe After Effects. 

• Create dynamic template systems for scalable content adaptation and localization. 

• Automate repetitive motion graphics, compositing, and rendering processes. 

• Improve rendering workflows through intelligent automation and batch processing. 

• Support motion teams with technical solutions that increase efficiency and consistency. 

• Visual Effects, CGI & Virtual Production

• Create advanced VFX and CGI solutions for advertising content. 

• Execute compositing, cleanup, object removal, product replacement, and digital enhancements. 

• Utilize tracking and matchmoving tools including Mocha, PFTrack, GeoTracker, SynthEyes, and similar solutions. 

• Support virtual production and real-time workflows. 

• Integrate AI-enhanced techniques into traditional VFX pipelines. 

• Pipeline Development & Production Engineering

• Design robust production pipelines across multiple disciplines. 

• Establish best practices for AI-assisted content production. 

• Create scalable frameworks for content versioning, localization, adaptation, and delivery. 

• Collaborate with Production, Creative, Design, Motion, Editing, and Technology teams. 

• Ensure workflows remain secure, efficient, and compliant with client requirements. 

• Innovation, Training & Thought Leadership

• Act as a subject matter expert on AI, automation, creative technology, and emerging production workflows. 

• Research industry trends and identify innovation opportunities. 

• Train and mentor team members on AI technologies and workflow optimization. 

• Develop internal documentation, playbooks, and best-practice guides. 

• Help define the long-term AI strategy for WPP Production Argentina. 

Role Requirements  

Technical Skills  

AI & Machine Learning  

• Advanced expertise in ComfyUI and node-based AI workflow design. 

• Deep understanding of image, video, audio, and multimodal generation systems. 

• Experience fine-tuning, customizing, and optimizing AI models and workflows. 

• Strong prompt engineering and workflow architecture skills. 

Programming & Automation  

• Advanced Python development skills. 

• Experience with JavaScript and automation frameworks. 

• Knowledge of APIs, webhooks, REST services, and workflow integrations. 

• Experience designing automation systems for creative production. 

• Familiarity with Git, version control, and software development best practices. 

Agent Development  

• Experience building AI agents and workflow orchestration systems. 

• Familiarity with LLM frameworks and agent architectures. 

• Experience integrating AI systems with production and business applications. 

• Understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems and knowledge management solutions. 

Adobe Ecosystem  

• Expert-level After Effects proficiency. 

• Experience creating After Effects scripts, expressions, and automation tools. 

• Strong knowledge of Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Media Encoder. 

• Experience developing custom workflow solutions within Adobe Creative Cloud. 

VFX & 3D  

• Knowledge in Nuke, Blender, Cinema 4D, Unreal Engine, or equivalent platforms. 

• Experience with tracking, matchmoving, compositing, and CGI workflows. 

• Understanding of real-time production pipelines is a plus. 

Creative Skills  

• Strong understanding of visual storytelling and advertising production. 

• Ability to translate creative concepts into technical solutions. 

• Excellent eye for composition, motion, design, cinematography, and visual quality. 

• Experience developing AI-enhanced creative workflows. 

• Strong understanding of audiovisual production pipelines from concept to final delivery. 

Experience  

• 3+ years working in post-production, creative technology, AI, VFX, or related fields. 

• Demonstrated experience implementing AI solutions in production environments. 

• Experience developing automation systems and workflow improvements. 

• Proven track record building custom tools, scripts, or technical solutions. 

• Portfolio demonstrating both creative and technical capabilities. 

• Agency, studio, or advertising production experience preferred.
