The Opportunity
As the Product Owner for a portfolio of focused digital and MarCom platforms, you will help prioritize enhancements, administration, optimization, and stakeholder needs across solutions that complement our MarTech stack, but remain important to business operations, marketing and communications delivery, data quality, and digital experience. These platforms may have lighter MarTech dependency, more specialized user groups, shared ownership models, or vendor-supported functionality, requiring practical stewardship, clear governance, and coordinated execution. This role combines practical technical understanding, project coordination, and knowledge of marketing and communications to deliver reliable, well-governed digital experiences that support WSP’s business objectives. Your Impact
Product ownership
Define and maintain practical roadmaps for a portfolio of focused platforms, balancing business value, operational needs, technical dependencies, stakeholder demand, and available capacity.
Act as the primary liaison with platform subject matter experts, business owners, IT partners, and vendors to support governance, enhancements, upgrades, and issue resolution.
Ensure platforms follow applicable MarTech, data, privacy, security, accessibility, and integration standards, escalating when deeper technical expertise is required.
Platform portfolio management
Oversee day-to-day coordination of assigned platforms, ensuring they remain reliable, documented, secure, compliant, and fit for purpose.
Prioritize and implement enhancements that improve usability, adoption, reporting, accessibility, and alignment with stakeholder needs.
Coordinate integrations, data flows, permissions, vendor activities, and platform documentation, with support from technical specialists as needed.
Drive innovation
Identify practical opportunities to improve the assigned platform portfolio through automation, AI-enabled capabilities, data insights, and process simplification.
Align platform improvements with Marketing and Communication needs through collaboration with MarTech Enablement, regional stakeholders, IT, vendors, and the broader MarCom team.
Translate stakeholder needs into clear requirements, backlog items, acceptance criteria, and implementation plans for platforms with moderate complexity or shared ownership.
The skills that set you apart
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or related field.
Minimum 3 years in digital product or project management, preferable in a B2B organization.
Experience with MarTech platforms.
Experience with agentic AI is a strong asset.
Generalist understanding of digital platforms, integrations, APIs, data privacy, permissions, reporting, and vendor-supported solutions.
Familiarity with product ownership practices, backlog management, stakeholder engagement, user adoption, and digital experience principles.
Ability to assess when a platform requires light MarTech stewardship versus deeper technical, architectural, or specialist support.
Excellent communication in English and French.
Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving abilities, collaborative mindset and curious.
Agile/Scrum Product Owner
Privacy or data compliance (e.g., CIPP, GDPR).

Compensation
BC, AB, SK, NWT & NU: $93,700 - $124,200
MB & ON: $85,500 - $117,800
Atlantic Provinces & QC: $84,700 - $112,400
