Senior Procurement Engineer

About the job:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Procurement Engineer to join our team and manage procurement activities while supporting the development of our procurement function.

The role will involve working with local and international suppliers and supporting the company’s future manufacturing operations.

• Manage the procurement cycle from sourcing and quotations to negotiation, purchase orders, and delivery.

• Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery.

• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.

• Handle procurement of technical materials, equipment, machinery, spare parts, and other company requirements.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers.

• Coordinate with Finance, Warehouse, Engineering, and other departments to ensure smooth procurement operations.

• Follow up on imported shipments and coordinate with suppliers and relevant parties.

• Support the evaluation and inspection of received goods and materials.

• Maintain accurate procurement records and reports.

• Support the establishment and improvement of procurement processes and supplier databases.

• Support procurement requirements related to the company’s future factory operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

• 7+ years of relevant procurement experience.

• Strong experience in supplier management, sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing.

• Good understanding of technical products, equipment, and machinery.

• Experience dealing with local and international suppliers.

• Good understanding of import and shipping processes is preferred.

• Good communication and negotiation skills.

• Fluent English.

• Strong Microsoft Office / Excel skills.

• ERP experience is a plus.
