Visiting Faculty, Department of BiologyXavier University invites applications for a visitingfaculty position in the Department of Biology to begin in Fall 2027, to complement its new undergraduate programs in Neuroscience. Thesuccessful candidate should bring a passion for teaching undergraduates.This is not a remote position.The position is renewable annually for up to three years, pending continued need. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
The individual must either bea Ph.D. candidate or hold a Ph.D.in an area of the biologicalsciences.Specialization in neuroscience required, with any area of neuroscience welcomed.Responsibilities include:teaching the equivalent of4courses per semester which may includecourses in neuroscience, majors-level anatomy and/or physiology,professional skills courses for majors and/or other upper division courses of interest. Most of these areexisting classesandalready have materials prepared that will be shared.
