Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and reliable IT Technician to join our on-site IT team in Malmö for a full-time contract of one year.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or develop a career in IT while working in a collaborative game development environment.
This is a highly user-facing role focused on providing first-line technical support to employees and external contractors. You will be responsible for preparing and deploying IT equipment, supporting onboarding activities, resolving day-to-day hardware and software issues, maintaining IT assets, and ensuring users have everything they need to work efficiently.
The ideal candidate is organized, service-oriented, enjoys working with people, and is eager to learn and develop technical skills.
The role is full-time at 40 hours per week, and the work schedule will include regular coverage until 19:00.
You’ll help us by…
- Providing first-line IT support for employees and external contractors
- Preparing, configuring, and deploying laptops, desktops, monitors, mobile devices, and peripherals
- Setting up workstations for new hires and support onboarding activities
- Responding to IT support requests via the ticketing system, email, phone, and in person
- Troubleshooting common hardware, software, and peripheral issues
- Escalating complex technical issues to senior IT team members when required
- Maintaining accurate IT asset inventory and lifecycle records
- Installing software and perform routine workstation maintenance
- Supporting meeting rooms, printers, and other office technology
- Assisting with office moves, workstation relocations, and hardware deployments
- Supporting external vendors and contractors with IT-related requests
- Following IT policies, security standards, and operational procedures
- Contributing to maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient IT workspace
You’re awesome because you have…
- English proficiency (spoken and written) - minimum B2
- Educational background in IT or a related technical field, or equivalent practical knowledge
- Good understanding of Windows operating systems and computer hardware
- Good knowledge of Microsoft 365
- Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift, move, and install IT equipment
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with the wider IT team
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
Bonus points for...
- Previous experience in an IT support, help desk, or customer service role
- Familiarity with macOS
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, or Intune
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira Service Management or ServiceNow)
