Sales Assistant

We are looking for a Sales Assistant to strengthen our Business Development team.

The ultimate goal of this role is performing the functions of documentary support for the Business Development team.

How You’ll Contribute:

• Receive and process customer requests, drawing up technical and commercial proposals together with technologists, and prepare related documents
• Send requests for quotation to partners, obtain offers, and draw up the offer to the customer
• Solve non-standard situations when a request falls outside the standard script
• Systematize your own work and take part in setting tasks for automating the process of preliminary assessment of client requests
• Work daily within cloud-based tools, including CRM systems, Slack, Zoom, and cloud documents
• Communicate actively with people across different countries
• Contribute within a fast-growing, dynamic business environment

What You’ll Bring to Xometry:

• Language: Fluent English (B2 or higher), spoken and written, including business correspondence; German or French is a big plus
• Experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience in business development, sales, or client-facing roles; experience with engineering orders or transactional IT systems for sales, production, or logistics automation is an advantage
• Problem Solving: Comfortable handling situations that fall outside the standard script
• Mindset: Motivated to work in a fast-growing business environment and to systematize and improve your own processes
• Tech Savvy: Enthusiasm for modern technology and cloud-based tools such as CRM systems, Slack, Zoom, and cloud documents
• Setup: A comfortable home workspace with stable internet access and the ability to join conference calls (this position is 100% home office)
