Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to join our U.S. Human Resources team in Silicon Valley, primarily supporting recruiting across Latin America, including Mexico and Brazil. The ideal candidate brings strong LATAM recruiting experience, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, global, and cross-cultural environment.
This is a full-time position based on-site at XPENG’s Santa Clara office five days per week.
Key Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Recruiting: Lead the end-to-end recruitment process from talent mapping, headhunting, sourcing, screening, and interview orchestration, through to offer formulation, compensation negotiation, and closing.
Strategic Partnership: Act as a trusted talent advisor to business and technical leaders. Conduct intake meetings, define hiring scorecards, and provide regular market intelligence and pipeline analytics.
Talent Sourcing & Pipelining: Proactively engage passive candidates through creative direct-sourcing strategies, referral campaigns, executive networks, and professional community engagement.
LATAM / Global Expansion Support: Support talent acquisition initiatives across key regional markets, particularly Mexico, Brazil, and broader LATAM, navigating local hiring practices, compliance, and talent market dynamics.
Candidate Experience: Champion a seamless, high-touch, and transparent candidate experience that reflects XPENG’s culture of innovation and agility.
Employer Branding & Market Intelligence: Continuously track industry trends, competitor movements, and compensation benchmarks across relevant regional markets.
Project Management: Strong project-management and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple searches, stakeholders, and deadlines simultaneously.
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience: 5+ years of full-cycle talent acquisition experience, ideally within fast-paced startups, multinational firms, or other high-growth organizations.
LATAM Market Expertise: Strong, hands-on recruiting experience in Latin America, particularly Mexico and/or Brazil, with knowledge of local talent landscapes, hiring practices, employment models, and candidate dynamics.
End-to-End Ownership: Proven track record of independently managing and closing mid-to-senior level roles from initial outreach to onboarding.
Work Arrangement: Willing and able to work on-site 5 days a week at our Silicon Valley office.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior hiring managers.
Preferred Qualifications:
U.S. Market Experience: Recruiting experience in the U.S. market, with knowledge of U.S. employment regulations, standard compensation practices (equity/RSUs, bonuses), and candidate closing dynamics.
AI & Advanced Tech Recruiting: Strong, proven background recruiting for niche AI / Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Autonomous Driving, Robotics, or Core Software Engineering talent is a huge plus.
Language Skills: Professional fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is highly preferred. Bilingual fluency in English and Mandarin (spoken and written) is a plus for cross-border communication and alignment with global headquarters.
Cross-Border Agility: Experience working in a global, cross-cultural organization bridging overseas entities and HQ.
