Role Summary

• We are seeking a hands-on QA Engineer Lead who combines strong testing expertise with team leadership. You will own the quality strategy for our trading and SaaS platforms, lead the QA team, and work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps to ship reliable, high-quality software.

• This is a high-impact role. You must be comfortable defining test strategy and mentoring the team, while remaining ready to write automated tests, debug APIs, work in the terminal, and validate complex financial workflows alongside your engineers. SaaS platform experience is mandatory; prior stock market experience is a plus.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of QA engineers, setting clear quality standards and goals

• Define and own the test strategy, test plans, and release quality criteria across products

• Design and maintain automated test suites for APIs, backend services, and web/mobile front ends

• Build and improve regression, integration, performance, and load testing for high-throughput, real-time systems

• Validate critical fintech workflows such as order management, trading APIs, market data, and reporting

• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and keep builds stable and fast

• Review requirements and designs early to catch defects, risks, and gaps before development

• Triage defects, drive root-cause analysis, and track quality metrics and trends

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and DevOps to deliver timely, reliable releases

• Introduce modern QA tools, processes, and best practices, including security and data-integrity testing

• Bachelor`s or Master`s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

• At least 6 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): IT Enabled Service, Software Company

• 6+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on test automation

• Mandatory experience testing SaaS platforms

• Strong experience with API testing (Postman, REST) and automation frameworks (NUnit, Selenium, Playwright, or similar)

• Experience with performance and load testing tools (JMeter, k6, or similar)

• Working knowledge of C#/.NET, SQL, and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, enough to read code and verify data

• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile methodologies

• Solid understanding of test design techniques, defect management, and the software development lifecycle

• Ability to lead a team, coach engineers, and resolve conflicts

• Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills

Experience Requirements

• At least 6 year(s), including 2+ years leading or mentoring a QA team

Nice to Have

• Prior experience in fintech, trading platforms, or the stock market

• Experience testing real-time or event-driven systems (Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, SignalR)

• Experience with FIX protocol or exchange connectivity testing

• Security testing knowledge and best practices for fintech systems

• Cloud experience (AWS) and working knowledge of Linux-based systems

• Exposure to mobile app testing (React Native)
