Role : DevOps Lead - JFrog Artifactory

Location : Bangalore, India

Experience : 8 - 10 years of IT experience, with at least 5+ years in Platform Engineering / DevOps

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Lead - JFrog Artifactory to manage and enhance our platform engineering capabilities, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and software supply chain security. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with JFrog Artifactory administration, GCP/GKE environments, infrastructure automation, and modern DevOps practices. Chainguard experience is mandatory for this role.

Key Responsibilities :

- Administer, manage, and maintain JFrog Artifactory.

- Manage Artifactory deployments and operations in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) environments.

- Implement and manage infrastructure automation using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.

- Design, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Actions.

- Implement software supply chain security controls and support secure software delivery practices.

- Administer JFrog Xray, including security policies and policy management.

- Integrate platform engineering tools and workflows with the Backstage Developer Portal.

- Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to improve platform reliability, availability, and operational efficiency.

- Perform Linux system administration and troubleshoot infrastructure and platform-related issues.

- Collaborate with engineering and security teams to improve automation, platform operations, and security practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- 8 - 10 years of overall IT experience.

- At least 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering / DevOps.

- Strong hands-on experience in JFrog Artifactory administration.

- Experience managing Artifactory in GCP/GKE environments.

- Mandatory : Hands-on experience with Chainguard.

- Strong knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

- Strong Linux system administration skills.

- Experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions for CI/CD.

- Experience implementing software supply chain security controls.

- Experience integrating with the Backstage Developer Portal.

- Knowledge of SRE principles and platform reliability practices.

- Experience with JFrog Xray administration and security policy management.

Preferred Candidate Profile :

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work hands-on with platform engineering and DevOps technologies.

- Understanding of secure software delivery, automation, and platform reliability.

- Good collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.
