SharePoint Engineer - M365 & Power Platform (Public Sector)

At Xtremax, we help organisations build secure, scalable, and modern digital workplace solutions using Microsoft technologies. As aSharePoint Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing, developing, and modernising enterprise collaboration platforms built on Microsoft 365.
Working alongside Solution Architects, Product Owners, and Software Engineers, you'll develop modern SharePoint Online applications, automate business processes with Microsoft Power Platform, and support large-scale enterprise content migration initiatives.
This role offers the opportunity to work on meaningful digital transformation projects while expanding your expertise across SharePoint Online, SPFx, Microsoft Power Platform, and cloud-based collaboration technologies
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain modern SharePoint Online (SPO) sites and intranet solutions.
- Develop custom SharePoint components and extensions using SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
- Build business applications using Microsoft Power Apps.
- Design and automate business workflows with Power Automate.
- Support migration of enterprise content and documents into SharePoint Online using ShareGate.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable Microsoft 365 solutions.
- Ensure solutions follow Microsoft best practices for performance, usability, maintainability, and security.
- Participate in Agile software delivery, sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience developing solutions on SharePoint Online.
- Hands-on experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
- Experience building applications using Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 services and cloud collaboration technologies.
- Experience using SharePoint migration tools such as ShareGate is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Understanding of REST APIs and SharePoint integration patterns.
- Experience using Git or other version control systems.
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
Preferred
- Experience delivering enterprise intranet or digital workplace solutions.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Copilot and Microsoft 365 AI capabilities.
- Experience supporting digital transformation initiatives within large organisations.
