Xylem is an American water technology company separated from ITT in 2011 that makes the pumps, treatment systems, meters and analytics used to move, treat and measure water. Its most strategically interesting business is measurement and control: smart water meters and network monitoring that let a utility find leaks, since a substantial share of treated water is lost in distribution before reaching anyone. Headquartered in Washington and listed on the New York Stock Exchange, it acquired Evoqua in 2023 to add industrial water treatment, and its demand is driven by infrastructure renewal and water scarcity rather than by economic growth.

Xylem is a Fortune 500 global water solutions company dedicated to advancing sustainable impact and empowering the people who make water work every day. As a leading water technology company with 23,000 employeesoperatingin over 150 countries, Xylem is at the forefront of addressing the world's most critical water challenges. We invite passionate individuals to join our team, dedicated to exceeding customer expectations through innovative and sustainable solutions.

If you’re a hands-on painter who takes pride in high-quality finishes - someone who understands that surface prep, coating thickness, and attention to detail all matter - this role was built for you.

As a Painter, you won’t just be applying paint. You’ll be protecting critical industrial equipment, supporting production flow, and ensuring pumps and parts are finished to exact standards before they’re shipped into real-world applications.

This is a role for someone who enjoys variety, responsibility, and visible results at the end of every shift.

Why This Role Is Different

  • You’ll be part of a global organization solving critical water challenges

  • You’ll receive 4 weeks of PTO and full benefits starting day one

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Receiving and stocking inventory for pumps and parts

  • Prepping surfaces and painting pumps and components

  • Experience with wet paint applications

  • Basic computer skills and ability to multitask

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred:

  • Forklift or overhead crane experience

  • Background working in shop or production environments

The Kind of Painter Who Thrives Here

You care about prep just as much as finish. You understand that paint isn’t cosmetic - it’s protection. You stay focused, follow safety practices, and take pride in sending out work that meets high standards every time.

What We Offer

  • $24-$27/hour, based on experience

  • 4 weeks PTO for hourly employees

  • Paid holidays

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance (eligible day one)
