ABOUT XYZ REALITY

XYZ Reality is transforming the construction industry through cutting-edge Augmented Reality (AR) technology.

We're the creators of The Atom, the world's first engineering-grade AR headset purpose-built for construction. By combining innovative technology with hands-on construction expertise, we're helping project teams improve accuracy, reduce rework and deliver complex projects with greater confidence.

Working with leading construction and mission-critical organisations across international markets, we're challenging traditional ways of working and helping shape the future of construction.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for ambitious, talented people who want to make a genuine impact.

THE ROLE

Are you an experienced Senior Project Planner looking to take your career beyond traditional construction planning?

We're looking for a talented and commercially minded Senior Project Planner to play a key role in delivering complex construction projects across Europe and the Middle East.

This is an exciting opportunity to combine your technical planning expertise with innovative construction technology, working closely with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary project teams to improve how major projects are planned, monitored and delivered.

You'll take ownership of planning and programme controls across multiple projects, with a particular focus on data centres and mission-critical environments.

More than a traditional planning role, you'll have the opportunity to influence senior stakeholders, shape best practice and contribute to the continued development of our project delivery capabilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead project planning: Take ownership of planning and scheduling across multiple complex construction projects, from pre-construction through to handover.

  • Drive programme excellence: Develop, review and challenge detailed construction programmes, ensuring clear milestones, dependencies and realistic delivery schedules.

  • Integrate planning and technology: Support the integration of project programmes, including MEP installation and commissioning sequences, with BIM and 4D planning tools.

  • Manage programme risks: Conduct critical path, schedule risk and delay analysis, identifying potential challenges and developing effective mitigation and recovery strategies.

  • Deliver meaningful insights: Provide clear, actionable progress reporting and programme analysis to clients and senior stakeholders.

  • Build strong partnerships: Collaborate with client and contractor planning teams, providing expert guidance, constructive challenge and technical leadership.

  • Influence and develop others: Support planning standards, share best practice and mentor colleagues to strengthen planning capabilities across the business.

  • Represent XYZ Reality: Act as a trusted planning expert in client discussions, contributing to project delivery strategy and supporting new business opportunities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Construction-related degree or relevant M&E trade background with progression into project planning.

  • Demonstrable experience in construction planning or scheduling, including at least 3 years in a senior or lead planning role.

  • Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6.

  • Willingness to travel regularly across Europe and the Middle East.

KEY EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Proven planning experience within data centre, mission-critical or similarly complex construction environments.

  • Strong understanding of MEP installation, commissioning and integrated systems testing.

  • Experience developing and managing complex construction programmes across multiple stakeholders.

  • Strong knowledge of critical path analysis, programme risk management and delay mitigation.

  • Experience delivering projects across Europe and/or the Middle East, ideally with knowledge of NEC or FIDIC contracts.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence and challenge at senior level.

  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to balance technical detail and broader project priorities.

  • Experience with Asta Powerproject, 4D planning tools such as Synchro or Navisworks, or Power BI would be advantageous.

Ready to help shape the future of construction?

If you're an experienced Project Planner who enjoys solving complex challenges, influencing project outcomes and embracing innovative ways of working, we'd love to hear from you.
