Job Tasks and Responsibilities
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the management and continuous improvement of themaintenance workforce in a safe and cost-effective manner (in association with mobile and fixed plantequipment maintenance activities), in order to achieve a high degree of reliability.

Skills and Experience
Skills
- Degree or Diploma in associated discipline
- Applicable Coal Competencies
- Senior First Aid or higher
- S1,2,3 & G2
- Competent in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong SAP knowledge & Microsoft Project skills
- Skilled in risk assessment, hazard identification & highly responsive to safety issues
Experience Required
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role and knowledge of the QLD Coal Mining Legislation and howit is related to maintenance applications
- Experienced in managing and maintaining personnel rosters within a mining environment
- Previous experience in providing leadership to effect project and operational success in relation tomaintenance applications within an Open Cut Mining environment
