This role is part of LIC's Operations & Services team, who deliver an essential animal health service to NZ farmers. Operations & Service is made up of LIC's Artificial Breeding, Diagnostics, Farms Management, FarmWise, Field Assist, Heifer Management and Herd Testing teams.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Herd Test Sample Transport Team Leader, you will be responsible for the transportation of Herd Test samples, equipment and goods between Christchurch and Amberley.
The role involves:
Working 5 days a week, with cover days for another driver if needed.
Evening starts
This is a seasonal role from October 2026 - May 2027.
Truck run between Christchurch and Amberley
The role would be ideal for someone who is looking for part-time hours, perhaps someone who is semi-retired.
About You:
With a 'can-do' attitude, you will be a self-motivated with excellent record keeping and customer service skills. You will also:
Be physically fit (able to lift 20kg)
Hold a valid Class 2 driver's license
Have an excellent driving record
Computer skills would be an advantage.
