Demand Planner

Summary:

Demand Plannertakes a more strategic role in demand planning by analyzing data trends, improving forecast accuracy, and leading cross-functional collaboration efforts. This role drives initiatives to optimizeinventory and enhance supply-demand alignment.

Essential Functions & Time Allocation:

• Lead supply and demand monitoring across multiple markets- Identify misalignments, adjust forecasts, and drive demand planning decisions.

• Develop statistical forecasting models- Evaluate forecast results and recommend improvements.

• Analyze complex data sets to identifytrends, reduce excess inventory, and improve service levels.

• Lead S&OP planning with assigned markets- Ensure alignment between demand forecasts and business goals.

• Evaluate and troubleshoot MRP accuracy- Ensure demand signals are correctly captured.

• Draft and implement new processes and procedures to enhance efficiency.

• Monitor and address systemic quality, service, and delivery issues- Implement corrective action plans.

• Provide mentorship and support to Level I Demand Planners.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong statistical and analytical skills with experience in forecasting tools.

• Proficiencyin demand planning software, ERP/MRP systems.

• Ability to lead cross-functional projects and drive initiatives.

• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

• 3+ years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, or supply chain.

Required Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
