Senior FP&A Analyst – BI oriented

At Y Soft, we believe great decisions start with great data. We're looking for a Senior Finance BI Specialist who enjoys connecting finance, technology, and business strategy. In this role, you'll transform financial and operational data into meaningful insights that help drive business performance across the company. 

We're looking for someone who enjoys solving business problems with data, thinks strategically, and isn't afraid to challenge the status quo. 

What you´ll do:

• Cooperate with colleagues across Finance, IT, Sales, and Executive Leadership to develop modern reporting, forecasting, and business intelligence solutions.
• Translate complex data into business insight: not just "what does the data say" but "what does it mean, and why does it matter"
• Design, develop, and maintain financial dashboards, KPIs, and executive reporting using Power BI.
• Leverage AI-powered tools and advanced analytics to improve reporting and analytics
• Deliver actionable insights into revenue, profitability, cash flow, costs, and operational performance.
• Analyze financial trends, variances, and business drivers to support strategic decision-making.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs and reporting requirements.
• Proactively identify gaps and opportunities in reporting - bring ideas forward rather than waiting for instructions

About you: 

Must-have experience 

• Strong finance background, with a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field. 
• 5+ years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Business Intelligence, Financial Analytics, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
• Practical experience using AI-powered tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot, ChatGPT, AI-enabled analytics platforms) to improve productivity, analysis, reporting, or decision-making.
• Advanced Power BI skills.
• A business-first mindset: you think about why a KPI matters to the business and its stakeholders, not just how to build the report
• Experience translating business requirements into reporting and analytical solutions.
• Professional English, Czech is a plus 

Nice to have 

• Experience with ERP systems.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and cloud platforms (Azure/Fabric)
• Experience implementing AI-powered analytics, forecasting, or automation.
• Experience in a SaaS an IT business
• Familiarity with Azure AI Services or Microsoft Fabric AI capabilities.
