Senior Software Engineer, Android, Core

What you will do

• Build and evolve Core Platform features across Authentication, Privacy & Security, and Core User Experiences;
• Design and develop high-quality, scalable features while balancing performance, maintainability, and technical debt;
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, and QA teams to deliver high-quality features;
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices;
• Support the technical growth of team members through code reviews, technical discussions, and mentoring;
• Continuously improve code quality, development efficiency, and system reliability by adopting modern Android technologies.

What you need

• 3+ years of experience developing Android applications using Kotlin and Java;
• Good understanding of Kotlin Coroutines, Flow, and modern asynchronous programming;
• Strong foundation in Data Structures & Algorithms, OOP, Design Patterns, Memory Management, and Data Persistence;
• Solid understanding of modern Android architectures (MVVM, Clean Architecture) and modularization;
• Experience with Android architecture components (e.g., ViewModel, Lifecycle) and local data persistence (SQLite);
• Experience optimizing memory usage and resolving ANRs and crashes;
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate technical trade-offs and design maintainable software;
• Strong ownership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills;
• Passion for mentoring, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning;
• Experience using LLMs and AI-powered development tools to improve engineering productivity is a plus.
