Senior Master Data Analyst

• shape the product master data and variant configuration landscape for the Chinese market in a global medtech company
• represent the global Medical Technology segment master data management team in China
• establish master data management processes and standards in Chinese affiliates, balancing the need for standardization and local requirements
• coordinate data collection and modelling in the product configuration environment (SAP LO-VC/AVC), working with stakeholders from multiple sites, especially product management and development teams
• compile information regarding new products and changes according to global standards and hand over templates/specifications to internal and external data maintenance teams
• act as the local business counterpart for the SAP S/4 implementation in China, ensuring adoption of global templates while driving local variant configuration requirements into the program
• provide segment-specific support for product data in a global support model (follow-the-sun), ensuring agreed service levels for the Chinese organization (e.g. request handling, variant-configuration-related support)

Other tasks assigned by line manager

• bachelor’s degree in business information systems or a similar qualification
• at least 5 years of experience in master data management or a similar function
• proven success in implementing and changing processes with stakeholders from multiple disciplines
• ability to present technical issues in a simple and understandable way for product management and sales
• systematic and thorough working style
• strong analytical skills with an eye for critical details
• confident appearance and engaging communication with stakeholders across the globe
• fluent in English and an additional language
• strong affinity for IT and business systems

Preferred experience in the SAP modules CRM, SD, and LO-VC (variant configuration) or AVC
