About the Team

The Monetization Platforms department is one of the strategic units within Corporate IT and is responsible for Design, development & management of Billing, Licensing and Subscription Solutions as three central services across the ZEISS Group worldwide.

Role Description:

Play a key role in the development and maintenance of the ZEISS subscription platforms. As part of an interdisciplinary team comprising a Product Owner, developers, and testers, you will help shape and continuously improve ZEISS subscription processes.

Must have Skills:

• Write high-quality code and validate its quality through unit, integration, and acceptance testing.
• Design and implement functional and technical architectures that transform business processes into digital solutions.
• Develop and operate subscription solutions, continuously improving them based on customer and user feedback in an agile DevOps environment.
• Advance the state-of-the-art development of the subscription platforms by applying continuous integration and continuous delivery, test automation, and building orchestration solutions.
• Support the team in resolving user issues.

Profile:

• A successfully completed degree in computer science, business information systems, or a comparable field.
• You should have 2-6 years with good knowledge of agile software development across the entire development lifecycle, from requirements analysis through release and maintenance.
• Experience with REST, API management, SQL, and Java; knowledge of Zuora is an advantage.
• Experience in the design, architecture, and scaling of software applications; knowledge of Quarkus is an advantage.
• A high level of initiative, strong teamwork skills, and clear customer and result orientation.
• Experience working in an interdisciplinary and multicultural team.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
