Your Role

• You will manage a portfolio of commodity groups and contribute to the long-term competitiveness of our procurement and supply chain organisation.

• Working closely with Engineering, Production, Quality, Logistics, and Project teams, you will develop sourcing strategies, drive supplier performance, lead commercial negotiations, and support a resilient and future-oriented supplier base across our manufacturing network.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned commodity groups and analyse supply markets, identify opportunities, and mitigate sourcing-related risks.

• Build and maintain a competitive supplier portfolio, Conduct market benchmarking and identify innovative suppliers and solutions.

• Conduct and manage commercial and contractual negotiations with national and international suppliers.

• Evaluate supplier proposals and lead sourcing decisions based on cost, quality, delivery performance, and overall business value.

• Identify and implement sustainable savings opportunities while maintaining operational excellence.

• Monitor supplier performance and act as the primary commercial contact for escalations

Your Profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.

• Relevant working experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, supplier management, or a comparable commercial role within an industrial environment.

• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Commercial mindset combined with an interest in technical products and manufacturing processes.

• First experience in managing multiple commodity groups and supplier portfolios.

• Good knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office applications.

• Structured, proactive, and results-oriented working style.

• Willingness to work on-site and to travel internationally as required.

• Fluent in English and German.
