Primary Job Duties Responsibilities
Supervising all US and International tax compliances and submissions covering Corporate Tax, State and Local Sales C Use Taxes, VAT and Franchise Taxes. I
- Working on Indirect Taxation / Direct Taxation matters with the third-party tax consultants
- Filing of tax returns and finalization of Audits
- Monthly and quarterly provision workings including tracking the carry forward of NOLs (Sec 382), section 162(m) workings, GILTI, deferred taxes, etc.
- Performs research activities on tax issues and have informed discussion with the tax consultant and advice the internal teams
- Tax implications on the Intercompany matters on both US and global entities
- Working on the sales and use tax compliance to ensure taxes are appropriately charged to the clients and monthly / quarterly returns are filed
- Building and supervising the team for Tax
- Ensuring the Internal control environment
- Support the internal and external Audits
Qualifications
CA / CPA with 6-10 years of experience in Taxes.
- Preferably worked in a US Company and handled a corporate role.
- Knowledge of tax laws and regulations at federal, state, and local levels.
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Detail oriented and have a “Hands-On” work attitude
- Able to work with minimum supervision
