Responsibilities:

  • Own and deliver modules end-to-end from design and coding to deployment and monitoring.
  • Drive technical decisions and architecture choices to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Collaborate with PMs, QAs, and cross-functional teams for seamless delivery and knowledge sharing.
  • Mentor junior engineers, review code, and set engineering best practices across design, coding, and testing.
  • Identify gaps in systems and processes, propose improvements, and set up workflows to scale the engineering team.
  • Contribute to debugging, profiling, and scaling high-performance applications.
  • Participate in system design discussions and independently design small services.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience designing, building, and maintaining complex production applications.
  • Strong knowledge of databases (NoSQL or relational) with proven data modelling expertise.
  • Solid understanding of system design, OOD, and design patterns.
  • Prior experience in a product-based company.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Bonus: Hands-on experience with Node.js, React.js, or MongoDB.
  • Bonus: Prior experience mentoring or leading a small engineering team.
