Lead AWS GenAI Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Lead AWS GenAI Engineer with strong expertise in serverless AWS services, Amazon Bedrock, agentic AI, RAG, and Python. The ideal candidate should be capable of designing and developing production-grade AI solutions using modern AWS technologies.

Location: Remote (India)

Must-Have Skills

• Serverless AWS: Strong hands-on experience with Amazon API Gateway, AWS Lambda, and AWS Step Functions, including event-driven architectures, orchestration patterns, and system integration.
• Amazon Bedrock: Experience with Knowledge Bases, AgentCore, and Foundation Models (FMs), including Agentic AI architectures, RAG, and model selection.
• Strands: Hands-on experience with Strands Agents SDK, including agent development, tool integration, and orchestration.
• AWS Storage: Strong knowledge of Amazon DynamoDB and Amazon S3, including data modelling, access patterns, and lifecycle management.
• Python: Strong proficiency in Python for developing scalable, production-grade services and AI applications.

Intermediate Skills

• GitHub Actions: Experience designing and developing CI/CD pipelines and deploying applications to AWS.
• AWS CDK: Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), development, and deployment.
• AIDLC: Understanding of the AI Development Life Cycle, including experimentation, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and iteration of AI/ML solutions.
• TypeScript: Familiarity with TypeScript for front-end or full-stack development is nice to have.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable serverless and GenAI solutions on AWS.
• Build RAG and agentic AI applications using Amazon Bedrock and Strands.
• Develop and integrate AI agents with external tools and AWS services.
• Build production-grade Python services and APIs.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code using GitHub Actions and AWS CDK.
• Collaborate with engineering and AI teams throughout the AI development life cycle.
