Recruiter, Business & Operations

Zoox’s Talent Acquisition team is looking for a versatile recruiter to primarily focus on hiring and shaping our core business teams, such as Product, Communications, Marketing, Experience, and People Operations. Additionally, this role will flex to support our technical and on-the-ground operations teams, with a focus on Manufacturing Operations and Fleet Operations.

You will manage a diverse portfolio of technical and non-technical roles that range from entry-level to Senior Manager. Working closely with hiring managers and cross-functional leaders, you will be given ownership of the entire recruiting process, including managing clients, qualifying requirements, sourcing, recruiting, and closing world-class talent.

This position demands a balance of teamwork, creativity, and interpersonal skills. You will be supporting teams that have a direct impact on Zoox and our continuing growth. You will be expected to act as an ambassador of the brand and must be able to deliver results in a fast-paced work environment, seamlessly pivoting between different business units and skill sets.

In this role, you will

• Manage the full-cycle recruiting process with an emphasis on strong hiring manager partnership and effective candidate advocacy.
• Source candidates, screen resumes, and evaluate candidates to determine both technical and behavioral fit.
• Facilitate interview and hiring decision-making processes with interviewers, hiring managers, and company leadership.
• Manage the offer process, partnering closely with hiring managers, leadership, and HR teams to close candidates.
• Continuously and independently seek new ways to improve both the candidate experience and the overall recruiting process.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience (sourcing, screening, and closing)
• Proven ability to flex into technical recruiting, with an aptitude for hiring hardware, engineering, or on-the-ground operations roles (e.g., manufacturing, fleet).
• Experience partnering directly with Hiring Managers to guide them through the talent acquisition process and effectively evaluate candidates for behavioral fit and role competencies.
• Proficiency in directly sourcing passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter and alternative sourcing techniques (i.e. Gem, portfolio platforms, industry meetups, etc.)
• An aptitude for learning the intricacies of new industries, dynamic technologies, and the diverse teams you will support.
• Proven track record of delivering results and thriving in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Experience in the autonomous and/or electric vehicle industry.
• Expertise in leveraging an ATS (we use Lever) to build metrics, sourcing strategies, and talent pipelines.
