About the Role:
As a Facilities Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe, stable, and reliable operation of facility equipment and utility systems within our manufacturing plant. This hands-on position supports commissioning, plant ramp-up, and ongoing operations while driving equipment reliability, preventive maintenance excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives to maximize operational performance and production uptime
Role Responsibilities:
Execute daily maintenance activities for facility and utility systems to ensure smooth operations.
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance (PM) standards and guidelines for facility and utility equipment.
Monitor equipment condition, identify potential issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Conduct root cause analysis for recurring equipment failures and drive reliability improvements.
Manage and execute projects to enhance equipment performance, safety, and energy efficiency.
Monitor and optimize factory energy consumption.
Support equipment installation, commissioning, trial runs, and handover activities.
Ensure maintenance activities comply with company safety standards and procedures.
Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to support operational requirements and maintain equipment stability.
Utilize data-driven approaches to track maintenance performance and drive continuous improvement.
What you'll need:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 4 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with facility and utility systems, particularly high-pressure nitrogen systems, cooling water systems, chillers, and wastewater treatment systems.
Strong knowledge of mechanical and high-pressure systems.
Hands-on experience in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment reliability.
Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good English communication skills are preferred.
Proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work effectively on the shop floor
