We are looking for an SDE II (Python) to build and maintain scalable backend systems. You will work on system design, develop APIs, and contribute to high-performance applications while mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable backend systems using Python.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
  • Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps teams.
  • Participate in system design and architecture discussions.
  • Optimize applications for performance and scalability.
  • Debug production issues and ensure system reliability.
  • Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in software development.
  • Strong proficiency in Python (OOP, async programming).
  • Experience with frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
  • Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems
  • Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Redis).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of Git, messaging systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ), and testing frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ownership mindset.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with event-driven architectures and JAVA.
  • Knowledge of system design (HLD/LLD).
  • Exposure to ML pipelines or AI systems.
  • Contributions to open-source projects.
