Led the setup of a lithium mining laboratory, translating ore-evaluation and plant-support needs into laboratory workflows and commissioning priorities. Coordinated equipment selection and procurement and defined sample handling processes through SOPs and QA/QC procedures. Managed sample preparation and external testing while maintaining sample identification, tracking, and technical review of results for ore-evaluation decisions.

Developed and implemented an analytical method for lithium determination, covering sample preparation, digestion, calibration, instrumental measurement, and QC checks. Supported commissioning and routine operation of an atomic absorption spectrometer for mineral analysis. Performed XRD and FAAS on geological and plant samples, maintained calibration and standards, and produced technical reports and SOPs to support production and metallurgical work.

Handled the full laboratory sample workflow including receipt, crushing, drying, pulverising, weighing, digestion, and analysis for geological and plant samples. Operated XRD and FAAS instrumentation for mineralogical and elemental analysis and applied multi-acid digestion and certified reference materials for spodumene-concentrate testing. Supported consistent preparation practices, data quality controls, and safe day-to-day laboratory operations while assisting metallurgical activities.

Coordinated laboratory personnel and shift activities while maintaining procedural and safety requirements during the acting supervision period. Trained laboratory staff on safe sample handling and preparation procedures and reinforced consistent execution of laboratory workflows. Ensured reliable preparation quality and equipment care during ongoing sample processing and routine analysis.
