Managed a team of 8 industrial engineers and coordinated industrial engineering activities with reporting to the HOD. Conducted manpower and capacity calculations, and led productivity improvement initiatives including production system implementation, Kaizen/PDCA, and SMED. Standardized material movement systems (Mizusumashi, parts feeding) and supported layout, low-cost automation, inventory, and lot/box planning for shop-floor readiness.

Led industrial engineering work for customers by managing a team of 20 and coordinating initiatives around workplace solutions and production flow requirements. Supported conveyor and work-table assembly activities, including workstation arrangements and line setup support. Developed and implemented low-cost automation mechanisms and drove improvements in productivity, safety, quality, material flow, ergonomics, and overall operational efficiency.

Improved production systems and shop-floor operations using Lean principles such as Kaizen, PDCA, ECRS, VSM, Kanban, and JIT to reduce waste and raise productivity. Performed time and motion studies with stopwatch and video to optimize cycle time and operator methods, and created standard work charts to stabilize processes. Managed line balancing and changeover improvements using Yamazumi and SMED, and improved material flow and WIP through Mizusumashi, kanban-based replenishment, and small-lot practices while supporting training, supplier/CFT coordination, and KPI reporting.

Planned daily production schedules and monitored output versus targets to ensure timely achievement of shift goals. Allocated work to operators based on skills and workload, and supervised shift activities to maintain smooth workflow. Supported day-to-day production operations to keep delivery and production continuity on track.
