Provided design and optimization support for motors and transformers for customers, including optimum design work for a permanent magnet generator. Developed motor and transformer design optimization software that reduces material cost. Also provided design support for AC series universal motors and continues consulting while seeking full-time or part-time work.

Taught B.E. students and supported learning through course instruction. Advised on modelling and simulation topics related to motor, transformer, and alternator design. Contributed to team and project guidance in engineering problem-solving and analysis methodology.

Led transformer technology work and supported engineering development for transformer and reactor design optimization. Developed software tools to optimize transformer designs. Used these tools to improve design workflow and analytical outcomes for electrical equipment.

Developed and patented a capacitive choke solution enabling fluorescent tube ignition at lower voltage while limiting current at higher voltages. Designed the electrical behavior to support reliable ignition under the stated voltage constraints. Documented the idea as a patented technical contribution.

Created software to improve prediction of iron loss and stray-load losses in induction machines by incorporating space-harmonic effects. Extended analysis support for electrical device performance estimation through more accurate modelling methods. Aimed to reduce design uncertainty for better performance and optimization decisions.

Built design analysis and optimization software for conventional induction motor configurations using global optimization approaches. Implemented genetic-algorithm style optimization logic and applied it to improve motor design outcomes. Used the software to target material and performance cost trade-offs during iterative design.

Developed a generalized 2D finite element analysis software package for electrostatic and electromagnetic field problems for use in industrial electrical device design.
