Managed VDI provisioning for end users, resolved user issues via tickets, calls and email, and handled on-call coverage. Supported and operated a Horizon View VDI environment, including migration and upgrades to Horizon View 7.13. Managed Connection/Security components, app volume-related infrastructure, and maintained VDI pools for 1000+ users with troubleshooting for desktop pool issues. Administered VMware virtualization at scale (vCenter and ESXi hosts), including VM provisioning, templates, cloning/link-clone desktops, storage monitoring, clustering (HA/DRS/SDRS), patching, and performance analysis. Used PowerShell for administrative tasks and coordinated hardware support with vendors (Dell, HP, Cisco UCS).

Handled 24/7 datacenter and server technical support, including virtualization management for VMware ESXi and vCenter. Created and managed virtual machine fleets, implemented HA and DRS, and supported cloning/templates for duplicate VMs. Performed P2V/V2V conversions, installed and troubleshot guest operating systems and applications, and monitored VM and host performance using logs and event information. Managed network-related virtual switch configurations and monitored shared storage with daily reporting.

Managed domain server operations and supported corporate and warehouse network connectivity in a 24/7 environment. Installed and configured Windows XP workstations and Windows Server systems, and supported Hyper-V on Windows Server 2008. Troubleshot LAN/WAN/WLAN issues remotely, set up and maintained domain, mail, backup, application, and FTP servers, and handled routine server backups. Monitored internet proxy/firewall reporting and managed Symantec/endpoint-related security updates and deployments.

Supported installation and maintenance of Windows server and workstation environments, including Active Directory user administration. Configured DNS and mail services on Windows server platforms and performed ongoing security patching and upgrades. Assisted with hardware RAID configuration and resolved LAN and WAN issues across office and branch networks. Performed system assembly and troubleshooting for local infrastructure.
