Overview
BDC, the Business Development Bank of Canada, is a federal Crown corporation headquartered at Place Ville Marie in Montreal that serves Canadian entrepreneurs with business loans, working capital and equipment financing, advisory services and venture capital. Created in 1944, it works exclusively with small and medium-sized businesses through a national network of business centres and a virtual business centre, and its venture arm invests in Canadian technology and growth companies.
