Overview
Bet365 is a British online gambling company founded in 2000 in a portable building in Stoke-on-Trent, and it has grown into one of the largest privately held betting operators in the world. It runs sports betting with a very large in-play offering, online casino, poker and bingo products, and is unusual in the industry for building almost all of its trading, risk and streaming technology in house rather than licensing platforms from suppliers. The company remains controlled by the founding Coates family, is headquartered in Stoke-on-Trent, and holds licences across dozens of regulated markets including several American states.
