Overview
Browser Use builds software that lets AI agents control web browsers, offered as an MIT-licensed open-source library and as a paid cloud service with an API for developers of web agents. The library turns website interfaces into structured text that language models can read and act on, works with many LLMs, and the hosted version adds proxy rotation and persistent sessions for tasks such as logins, data extraction, QA testing and CRM updates. Founded in 2024 by ETH Zurich graduates Magnus Müller and Gregor Zunic, the San Francisco company went through Y Combinator (W25) and raised a $17 million seed round led by Felicis in 2025.
