Careem is the Dubai technology company founded in 2012 that built the first large ride hailing network in the Middle East, South Asia and North Africa. After its acquisition by Uber it evolved into a multi-service super app covering rides, food and grocery delivery, payments and bill services. Careem Technologies, majority owned by e&, now develops the everything app while Uber operates the ride hailing business.
