Overview
Chainlink is a decentralised oracle network launched in 2017 that delivers external data and off-chain computation to smart contracts. Its price feeds underpin a large share of decentralised lending and derivatives markets, and it also provides cross-chain messaging and proof-of-reserve services. Development is led by Chainlink Labs, which works with banks and market infrastructure providers on tokenised asset pilots.
