Crest Operations is a family of industrial companies serving electric power delivery, industrial services, distribution, specialty chemicals and natural resources, headquartered in Pineville, Louisiana, near Alexandria. Founded in 1958, the group includes Beta Engineering, DIS-TRAN Packaged Substations, DIS-TRAN Steel, Millennium Galvanizing, Optimal, Central Industrial Supply, Mid-State Supply, Avant Organics and Crest Natural Resources, which manages more than 100,000 acres of pine timberland. Its openings are mainly plant roles such as welders, boilermakers, machine operators, fabrication trainees, packaging technicians and forklift mechanics, plus forestry technicians.
