DATEV is a Nuremberg cooperative founded in 1966 and owned by German tax advisers, auditors and lawyers. Its software and data centre services handle the bookkeeping, payroll and tax filings of millions of German businesses. The organisation is one of the largest information technology employers in Bavaria.
