Overview
Dauch Corporation, formerly American Axle and Manufacturing, is an American automotive supplier headquartered in Detroit, Michigan, making driveline systems, axles, driveshafts and metal formed components for electric, hybrid and combustion vehicles. Co-founded by Richard Dauch in 1994, it took its current name after acquiring the British driveline maker Dowlais, and it operates more than 175 locations in 24 countries for global vehicle makers. It hires manufacturing, quality and industrial engineers, maintenance technicians, millwrights, pipefitters and electricians, production supervisors, and supply chain, accounting and data analysts in North America, Europe and India.
