Discovery Land Company is a US real estate developer and operator of private residential club communities and resorts built around championship golf, clubhouses, residences and its Outdoor Pursuits program, and is based in Scottsdale, Arizona. Founded by Mike Meldman in 1994, it runs more than thirty communities including Yellowstone Club in Montana, The Madison Club in La Quinta, Baker's Bay in the Bahamas, Homewood on Lake Tahoe, CostaTerra in Portugal and Taymouth Castle in Scotland. Its clubs hire bartenders, cooks, servers, housekeepers, spa and fitness staff, agronomy equipment operators, member experience coordinators and HR and accounting personnel.
