Overview
Gatik is an autonomous trucking company headquartered in Mountain View, California, that runs driverless medium-duty box trucks on short-haul, middle-mile routes between distribution centers and stores for large retailers and grocers. Founded in 2017 by Gautam Narang, Arjun Narang and Apeksha Kumavat, it launched driverless deliveries for Walmart in 2021, works with Loblaw in Ontario and PepsiCo in the US, operates in Texas, Arkansas and Arizona, and raised a $200 million Series D led by the Qatar Investment Authority in 2026. It hires perception and motion planning engineers, robotics and hardware engineers, fleet operations staff, dispatchers and recruiters.
