Overview
Basis is an artificial intelligence company in New York building autonomous agents that carry out long-running, end-to-end accounting and audit work for accounting firms, including some of the largest in the world. It raised $100 million at a valuation above $1 billion from investors including Khosla Ventures, Accel, Google Ventures, Nat Friedman, Daniel Gross and Adam D'Angelo, and has collaborated with OpenAI on production-grade long-horizon agents.
