Overview
Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (HKEX) is the listed operator of Hong Kong's only securities and derivatives exchange and its clearing houses, headquartered at Exchange Square in Central, Hong Kong, running equity, commodity, fixed income and currency markets. Formed in 2000, the group is one of the world's largest IPO venues, owns the London Metal Exchange, runs the Stock Connect and Bond Connect links with mainland China and operates the Qianhai Mercantile Exchange in Shenzhen, with offices in London, New York and Singapore. It hires IPO vetting and listing specialists, clearing risk staff, depository and derivatives operations officers, and network, Linux and software engineers.
